CAPITOL HILL - ST. PETER'S IN CHAINS WITH THE MOSES BY MICHELANGELO - THE COLOSSEUM - ST. PAUL'S OUTSIDE THE WALLS.
Crossing Piazza della Repubblica with the Najadi's Fountain, we continue along Via Nazionale till Piazza Venezia,heart of the city with the Monument to Victor Emanuel II also called "Vittoriano". We visit on foot the Capitol Square designed by Michelangelo from where there is a magnificent view on the Roman Forum and Palatine. By coach, passing by Teatro MArcello, Aventine Hill and the Circus Maximus, we go towards St. Peter's in Chains (visit) very old Basilica where you can admire the statue of Moses by Michelangelo. After a stop in front of the Colosseum from where you can see the Arches of Costantino and Tito and the Temple of Venus and Rome, passing in front of the Cestia Pyramid, we reach by bus St. Paul's Outside the walls (visit) built where the Apostle of the People has been buried. Return to hotels or nearest point.
