ROMA MONUMENTALE

2 Days. Daily (overnight in Sorrento). Free pick-up service at Hotel Viennese net from 6.45am to 7.15am approx.

1st day: Rome/Naples/Pompei/Sorrento - Leave Rome Southwards. After brief tour of Naples continue to Pompei. Lunch at a restaurant and visit the excavations of this Roman town buried under the ashes of nearby Vesuvius in 79 A.C. The tour next proceeds to Sorrento for dinner and overnight.
2nd day: Sorrento/Capri/Rome - After breakfast at the hotel, leave by steamer to the Island of Capri. On arrival, weather permitting, visit by rowing boat, the Blue Grotto. Back to Marina Grande where minibuses will take us up to Anacapri for lunch at a restaurant. Back again to Marina Grande to board the return steamer to Sorrento, from where the journey back to Rome starts. Arrival at the hotels or their surroundings at about 9.00pm.
